OneNote for Mac continually syncs all of your notes with OneDrive. This lets you open, view, and edit your notebooks on all your devices so they’re always up-to-date. OneNote for Mac requires access to OneDrive using a Microsoft account.

- Over the past few years, this app was called “OneNote 2016” (and “OneNote 2013” in earlier years). It’s now simply called “OneNote.” The OneNote desktop app features a full Office ribbon interface that can be permanently shown, or hidden until needed.
- The method to turn off spelling and grammar check in OneNote for the desktop is different from that of the UWP app. OneNote Desktop App. Open OneNote for the desktop and go to FileOptions. 1. Open up Outlook 2016 on Mac
2. Click on File then Open, followed by Open User's Folder...
3. Enter in the Shared Mailbox name or it's full e-mail address
4. Click on Open
The shared mailbox should show up then on the left with all of your e-mail folders as well.
